Kleenfuel Filter System
The fuel is used to generate energy to maintain the engines functioning. Its performance is improved when it is kept free from sediment and water, maintaining cleanliness for an efficient combustion.
Dirt and sediment in the engine are harmful elements that cause the injector systems to fail. These contaminants cause the filters and injectors to clog, increasing engine part wear and fuel consumption.
Water is another enemy for the engine. It can contaminate the fuel during the condensation process caused by the heating of the inside of the storage deposits or lack of proper maintenance. This harmful enemy can then cause purges in the injectors, corrosion and an early wear of the pumps, injectors and pistons, among other parts.
Our Kleenfuel filter system allows the fuel to pass slowly through a very dense cartridge at about 2 to 3 quarts per minute. This process does not change the pressure of the engine. At this speed, it is possible to remove particles up to 1 micron (3 absolute) and 99.95% of all water.
